💳 Payment & Terms

🧾 Payment Policy:
Monthly Development Plans operate as a service retainer. Payment secures a reserved position within the development schedule and ensures dedicated availability for ongoing development tasks such as content updates, layout improvements, structural enhancements, coding adjustments, and other development-related work.

Retainer invoices may be issued in advance of each billing cycle to maintain predictable scheduling and uninterrupted service. A detailed receipt will be provided for each billing period.

📅 Monthly Development Cycle:
Development Plans renew on a monthly service cycle to support continuous improvements and structured development progress. Plans renew on the 1st of each month and include development services up to the time allocation of the selected plan tier. Development tasks are prioritized based on client requests, project complexity, and current scheduling availability.

📌 Retainer & Service Availability:
Monthly service plans operate as a subscription-based retainer. The monthly fee secures reserved availability, ongoing oversight, and priority access to professional support services throughout the billing period.

Because time and scheduling capacity are reserved in advance, the monthly fee remains payable regardless of the amount of support requested or utilized during the month. Included support time provides the opportunity to request assistance as needed, however unused time does not accumulate or roll over to future billing periods.

The monthly retainer primarily secures service availability, system oversight, and priority access to support. Included hours are used to complete requested tasks, troubleshooting, coordination, and operational assistance related to your selected service plan.

Monthly service plans are structured as subscription retainers and are not pay-as-you-go hourly services. Reserved capacity is maintained to ensure clients have reliable access to professional assistance when needed.

⏱️ Included Development Time:
Each plan includes a defined amount of development time per month based on the selected plan tier. Included development time resets at the start of each monthly billing cycle and unused time does not roll over to future months.

🔁 Renewal & Cancellation:
Plans renew automatically each month unless canceled with 30 days’ written notice prior to the next billing cycle. Development services will continue through the remainder of the paid service period after notice is provided.

📌 Plan Scope Clarification:
Development Plans focus on website development tasks such as layout improvements, structural enhancements, coding adjustments, and content updates. These plans do not include website maintenance, security services, marketing, SEO management, analytics management, ecommerce operations, or performance optimization unless specifically included in a separate service plan.

⏸️ Pausing Development Services:
To pause development services, a minimum 30-day notice is required to prevent disruption to scheduling and resource allocation.

If development services are paused for longer than 60 days, the account may be fully off-boarded to maintain development capacity and scheduling availability. When resuming services after off-boarding, a $100 Re-Onboarding Fee may apply and scheduling may be subject to current availability or waitlisting.

⚠️ Missed or Late Payments:
Failure to provide timely payment may result in a Late Payment Fee of up to 7.5% applied to the outstanding balance. Accounts with overdue balances may also experience a temporary suspension of development services, including active tasks, queued requests, or scheduled improvements. Reinstating services may require rescheduling based on availability.

⬆️ Plan Adjustments & Scheduling:
An appropriate development plan tier is required to maintain a position within the development schedule. If requests consistently exceed the time allocation or complexity of the selected plan, an upgrade to a higher development tier may be required to maintain progress and scheduling priority.

🧰 Additional Development:
Development work outside the defined scope or exceeding the included time allocation is billed at $120/hour, in 15-minute increments.
